About This Workshop
This workshop’s mission is to increase awareness among providers, of the cultural implications, and impact of service, when working with veterans and their families. Presented by a veteran, who has utilized behavioral health to serve other veterans for over a decade, this event aims to increase the availability of informed, quality care, for veterans and their families.

About the Presenter

Prior to that, she spent ten years working for Veterans’ Affairs in various capacities, including as a Global War on Terrorism Outreach Counselor and Readjustment Therapist for veterans. Ms. Hossfeld, has been highly passionate about learning, and sharing education with other providers, since her first deployment to Iraq in 2004.
